DAY 1: ARRIVAL TO COSTA RICA
Arrival and transfer to selected hotel in San José. Overnight at selected hotel.
DAY 2: CAR DELIVERY AND DRIVE TO TURRIALBA B
reakfast. A car rental representative will show up at your hotel in order to deliver your car. Upon rental arrangements, you will start your journey to Turrialba. Forests, mountains, rivers, waterfalls, canyons and gravel roads conspire in Turrialba to make this land to be considered as the Adventure’s Sport’s Metropolis in Central America. DAY 3: DAY AT LEISURE IN TURRIABLA
Breakfast. This is a day off so you can enjoy one of the plenty activities that the region has to offer such as white water rafting, canyoning as good as a visit to Guayabo Archaeological Reserve. Overnight at selected hotel (B)
DAY 4: DRIVE TO SAN GERARDO DE DOTA
Breakfast. Start your journey to an amazingly beautiful region, San Gerardo de Dota. There are places in the world where a green landscape is hardly seen but this is an evergreen paradise spot. Certainly places like San Gerardo are the perfect argument to say that Costa Rica is a privileged nation. All green shades from nature color palette gather together in San Gerardo as a fresh painting. The 2,200 meters altitude hosts a virgin cloud forest, this as good as the subtle tourism development are some of the circumstances that help to conserve this natural goodness oasis. Just to begin this adventure, the path road at the entrance is a different and refreshing experience. You will admire wonderful trees at the road edges, exotic plants, clouds that you could catch with your own fingertips, coquette and colorful houses introduce you to the world you will experience. Day 5: DAY AT LEISURE IN SAN GERARDO DE DOTA
Breakfast. Hiking is the perfect way to intimate with San Gerardo. Private trails at the hotel, a visit to the abundant and majestic waterfalls that feed the Savegre River, bird watching, fishing and zip lines are the main activities. All trails have a friendly access and most of them do not require an intense physical condition. Just take the pass at an easy step at your own rhythm, enjoy what the forest reveals for you, keep your senses aware for beauty, even a magical Quetzal could fly near you. A remarkable fact is the pristine Savegre river with a rich caudal. You can walk at the edges of it, cross on small safe iron bridges, fish from it, enjoy the water patters made by the encounters with rocks, and specially hike down to the “mirador de la piedra” which is a nature cave that grants you a visual access to a small waterfall and a calm place at the river, or finish your ride at the waterfall which is the region main attraction.
This is the perfect place for Bird Watching, even birdwatchers became a part of the regular landscape. Colorful hummingbirds, emerald toucanets, tanagers and obviously the Quetzal are just a part of the 250 bird species that you can find here.

DAY 6: DRIVE TO DOMINICAL
Breakfast. Continue your expedition. It’s time to explore the South Pacific Coast of Costa Rica, starting by the Dominical area. Dominical is at only 40 kms. from the south edge of Jaco Beach, in Puntarenas Province. Dominical is a small village founded mainly by artisan fishers, traders and farmers and those who simply could not resist the temptation to stay with this enchanting landscape and culture. The village is composed by a few stores, houses and traders narrowed in lines at the border side of the only road that also leads to the beach. At the end of the region, close to a risk named Roca Verde, line some small beaches hugged by an idyllic aspect that summarizes the incredible natural scenery you can find here. DAY 7: DAY AT LEISURE IN DOMINICAL
Breakfast. This beautiful area offers much more than just surf. Visiting the Parque Nacional Marino Ballena is a great opportunity to comprehend the ecosystem. This is the home place for many sea mammals such as dolphins and whales who come here on the mating season. There are hikes to observe the flora and fauna, horseback rides, a visit to Nayuca waterfalls, camping in the jungle, kayaking and diving. From Dominical you can also visit some beautiful beaches such as Dominicalito, Playa Roca Verde and Playa Hermosa , a virgin reserve where the forest meets the beach. A tempting place when waves are not good in Dominical. Playa Uvita, a popular spot and a beautiful beach where to find many restaurants and bars. Playa Arco, is a hidden beach just by the side of Playa Ballena, to reach there you must hike a short trail, there is not a road access. All these surrounding little beaches in Dominical are flora and fauna abundant paradises where sunsets are majestic and you could walk for miles without seeing some one else. DAY 8: TRANSFER TO SAN JOSE
Breakfast. It’s time to return to San José city for your last night. Overnight at selected hotel (b)
DAY 9: DEPARTURE FROM COSTA RICA
Breakfast. Drive to your car rental office closest to the airport. Then a car rental representative will take you to Santamaría International airport. Make sure to find about correct schedules for flight departure and car return. (B)
